Dr William Beck – General Specialist Diagnostic & Interventional Radiologist.
Dr Beck is a highly skilled General Specialist Radiologist with extensive experience of working in both NHS and private healthcare settings.
Dr Beck has more than 30 years post graduate experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology/Imaging, having qualified at the University of Cape Town, South Africa and obtaining the specialist qualification/training in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Dr Beck also has numbers of years of experience as a General Practitioner (GP) before specialising as a Radiologist and he has worked in countries such as South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom.
Dr Beck’s skills and experience include CT/cross-sectional imaging, plain films and Ultrasound for musculoskeletal, general abdomen/renal, small parts, head & neck, breast imaging, lumps/bumps, paediatric and vascular conditions. Dr Beck is also specialised in ultrasound guided interventional procedures such as core biopsies and fine needle aspiration.

Ultrasound Imaging and Procedures
• General Ultrasound including abdomen, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, pelvis, renal, hernias, lumps and bumps, lymph nodes etc
• Musculoskeletal (MSK) assessment, injections, and pain management, joints, tennis elbow, planter fasciitis, carpal tunnel, trochanteric bursitis, shoulder bursitis/frozen shoulder etc
• Thyroid and neck scans
• Vascular scans – arterial and venous(arms/legs), deep vein thrombosis (DVT), varicose vein assessment, temporal arteritis, carotid and vertebral arteries, abdominal aortic aneurysm, other aneurysms etc
• Paediatric – general and neck, groin (hernias/lymph nodes), dysplastic/congenital dislocation disease of the hip, pyloric stenosis, transient synovitis, neonatal intracranial ultrasound, etc
• Fine Needle aspiration eg suspicious thyroid lumps, lymph nodes, lumps, joints etc
• Men’s health, including prostate, testes, and scrotum.
