Dr Magdalena Pogwizd is a graduate of Medical University of Silesia in Katowice. She completed her training in endocrinology in the University Hospital in Cracow. She completed her specialisation in internal medicine in 2010. Over next few years she gained extensive experience in endocrinology and diabetology while working in Clinical Department of Endocrinology in the University Hospital in Cracow.

Apart from clinical experience she has also few years’ experience in research work. Thyroid diseases and specifically  radioiodine application in hyperthyroidism treatment was her doctoral thesis, which she defended in 2015. Dr Pogwizd deals with hormonal disorders observed in adults, mainly diseases related to: thyroid, parathyroid, master gland of the endocrine system and adrenal glands. She has broad experience in internal diseases as well as endocrinology. She performs the ultrasound examinations of the thyroid. Currently she also works in NHS hospital.
